Marbella
might be the most important centre for the international
tourism on the Costa del Sol. The old part of
Marbella, the clean and nice alleys and places
(Plazas), the residential areas with its abundance
have made the city well-known all over the world
as a "Gold Triangle".
Marbella
is situated on the Roman Augustus Way ( Via Augusta)
at the foot of the mountain Sierra Blanca. The

is built on Roman Ruins. 711 it was invaded from
the Moors and called then MARBI-LA. It is thought
that the actual name of MARBELLA (=beautiful sea)
comes from the year 1485.

the Bonsai-Museum, the Roman Baths in the Urbanisation
of Guadalmina, the Museum, the Cultural Center.
